Dream Magic

DREAM MAGIC
by Dawn Harshaw

A fantasy novel about a young boy who battles goblins, learns magic and faces inner demons in a shared lucid dream.

Grace Park

I like Grace Park. In my eyes, she's beautiful.

The only place I have seen her so far is the sci-fi series "Battlestar Galactica" (the new one, not the old one from the '70s). She plays the same character in different versions; or more accurately, different characters of the same version.

Grace's movements seem natural and she seems to be well-connected to nature.

The most interesting thing about her is how I perceive her thoughts.

Usually, people's thought processes are hugely influenced by cause and effect; if you observe cause-effect chains fast, you can predict in what state-of-mind they will be.

Except for on a superficial level, I can't do that with her thoughts.

I love to see her consciousness reflect in her eyes.

Grace Park is like a beautiful, deep and dark stream.

Thoughts and motions are not 'mechanic'; they emerge from that stream, complete.

I bet she has fast reflexes, or if not, that she could develop them easily.

I don't see any seductive/manipulative behaviour, and I hope she doesn't change that.

I hope Grace accepts different states of existence, successfully integrates them, and extends the flow of the ardent stream that she is in different dimensions as well!
