The easy way to get rich is to win the lottery. It is such an easy and effortless way to get rich that it has become a stereotype.
Of course, there is a huge drawback - it rarely happens. Your chances at winning the lottery are almost nonexistently small. (Also, even if you win, the government takes at least half of your winnings.)
You can get rich easy by winning the lottery, but it may take several lifetimes for it to happen. It is the most unreliable method with only chance to influence it.
For many of us who aspire to great wealth it makes sense to stop daydreaming, get off our asses, invest some effort and find a more reliable way to get rich.
